'Promo 3.0: Promote Your Art, Without the Selling', New ebook from Red Lemon Club

November 9, 2012 by

Good news. I finished another book! I’m pretty excited about this one, with it being my mission to get this in front of as many people as possible, with your help.

I really do believe this one will improve our working lives and make change. The way work and products are promoted is changing, and it’s important that those of us with cool things to share know what is important as things shift.

Its real title is this: ‘Promo 3.0: Why creatives are failing at promoting their art, and how to attract buyers and fans in a modern world.’

The crux is this: people don’t like to be sold to, and I imagine you don’t like selling to people either. This book shows you why selling in its older sense is fading, and being replaced by a means to get the right people in front of you and your work in a way that works for everyone, and just feels right.

The book is for creatives of all kinds, especially those working independently, but the takeaway is of great use to anyone with something to share with the world.

If you do decide to read it, a share with your friends in any way would be appreciated, and we can get the message to spread together.

Get your kindle copy via this page.

Thank you!

I couldn’t read the entire e-book due to my limited time at work, but I can see it offers some great advice on how to form the right approach to your prospect and current customers. I agree that getting to know them and their demands and needs well is key. Some people suggest that one should use personas for that but I kind of find that a bit too much of an effort when it comes to my personal, not so-business-oriented yet website and its readers.
Thank you for providing such a valuable resource for no cost at all and best of luck with your forthcoming projects :)
